A Rhyme Scheme to Music and Lyrics: For the Resurrection of my Soul

To Music: Born together and inseparable ever since i
can remember. It was you who took my first steps with
me. You who taught me my first life lesson. I still
remember the first time my fingers ever touched piano
keys. Sitting in daddy's lap no older then about two
or three. I loved to hear him play so every once in a
while he'd pick me up and place me on the piano bench
next to him so I could see. I'd climb over in his lap
consumed by curiosity. As he played I'd sneak in an A
sharp and look up at him and smile. recognizing the
beauty in the sound we'd just made. Those sunny
afternoons we'd sit at the piano and play. Black and
white half notes and colorful chords painted the
dinning room walls and made their way through the
living room and out the front door. There they were
free to kiss the sky and reach high heaven. You were
my gift to God and in return he gave me you.

To Lyrics: You are everything that words can describe.
The rhyme scheme of life and love. of beauty and
hurt and smiles and tears. The stanza that surpasses
time because your very essence is timeless. You're
the one thing that kept love alive. As i held on to
each prose for dear life, it was because of you, in
the end, that I survived. This is for those nights
when I lamented through song because all i had was you
my lyrics and my poems. Because of you I was able to
see again, made whole...Liberated.

I travel through life with HIM as my guide and you at
my side. For art is love and love is life and life is
art. Never underestimate it's power.
